Sapi Island, Kota Kinabalu Reviews
Ensure you don't go during weekends and peak season
Crystal clear water with many playful fishes. Good for snorkeling. Enjoy the water activities including sea walking and parachuting at reasonable prices. Quality of buffet lunch is okay but the flies are annoying. In general, it is recommended to spend a day over there.
Just don’t! It’s a waste of 50 MYR. 30 transport and 20 entrance fee on the island (recently doubled). Was there on a weekday, and the short beach strip is nice. However you will only enjoy it if you like overcrowded places with too many people in full body swimsuits taking selfies.
Very poor island. A lot of rubbish around the island. Very crowded, mostly by Chinese and the worst thing is that in the water is a lot of plastic rubbish. Just a few small fishes and much more plastic in the water. Very dissapointing to see that none is able to clean a coast at least...
Beautiful island but less activities.
