Sapi Island, Kota Kinabalu Reviews - Write a Review

  • Environmental fees of RM10 are not spent on environment. This is amazing, island is covered in rubbish: plastic bottles, plastic bags, plastic barrels, metal cages you name it. The sewer is going straight into the sea. Disgusting environmental standards.

  • This island is very beautiful and has fascinating crystal clear beach. The area is always crowded with tourist and sometimes there wont be any empty space if you came late. Paradise for scuba diver to explore the inner sea.

  • Atleast i can see fish clearly when snorking rather than manukan island. Small island with beautiful view

  • So crowded that you can bearly see the beach.. poor snorkeling, smell of toilet and barbecue. Far from paradise

  • Pretty pretty pretty with smooth silky sand, clear sea water. Furthest island away from mainland costs RM32 (local) for boat to and fro the island. Water activities is a must cz the island is too small to hang out half a day. Near Pulau Gaya there's a flying fox thing to fly over to the other island (which we did not try). Would say less polluted compared to Manukan.
