  • It was really a fun experience to see the scientific development in Japan. It's basically for kids. Everything is explained in Japanese and English. So it is not difficult to understand. The best part was the Robot dance and the hanging globe. However, I feel considering the size of the museum, they can put some more scientific things as there was lot of dead space. Altogether it's a good place to visit when you are in Tokyo.

  • Very good exhibits, but need more robots. On a bio-civilization note, they are very forward thinking about waste, reuse and recycling. Great on advanced disease prevention, but focused on not changing human eating behaviour. There was no mention of going vegan to save earth's resources and prevent human disease. I noted a kid seminar where they asked (the children) how many kilos of beef they get from a cow. How about bushels of corn per hectare? Anyway, the culture is still biased. However, I do respect the effort they put forth.

  • Really fun experience. Great place for both kids and adults. Lots of learning through fun. You'd need 3+ hours to see everything. Also, make sure to check out the robot demonstration.

  • All main exhibits had both English and Japanese descriptions, and the special exhibit had a page of English with a reference number to each item on display. It was amazing to see all of the different technology. The exhibits were exciting and each one was very different. Seeing Asimo was a highlight of the day, even stayed to watch it twice. Definitely could spend a full day there, especially if you are seeing the extra exhibition. Would highly recommend to anyone, both young and old.

  • This is a great and very interactive museum. I wouldn't recommend it for very young kids though. Your kids should be at least 5 to enjoy must of the installations. The space ship was particularly cool. I also liked the playground area, make sure you get tickets in time.
