Kovalam Beach - Review

Bordered with coconut trees and gentle breeze swaying around as you take a stroll on the Kovalam beach is a reason good enough to be here. With hypnotizing waters safe enough for a great swim or a quick dip, the lip-smacking food available at the number of restaurants on the beach, and matchless Sunset and Sunrise view, Kovalam beach is what you are looking out for in a beach destination.

There a number or adventure sports if you are all bored of the swimming or sunbathing in cozy lounge chairs. This includes water diving, parasailing and wind surfing to name a few. You can also indulge into exotic Ayurvedic therapies, an ancient and proven science to rejuvenate your body and mind.  kovalam beach is one of the attractions in Kerala Itinerary 10 Days

  • This is a nice place to relax yourself. This place have some stone's arrangement to shoot your perfect profile picture. It's a nice place for photo shoot. You should walk through street to reach the beach. There are some shop's and food stalls available. Maximum available - Bus number is 588.

  • It is one of the popular beach in Chennai. All kind of people including kids can enjoy here since tide is not that much force here. Many fish stalls including fresh fish, dry fish and fry fish available here. You can purchase fresh fish through out the day. It may not be cheap but fresh. Paid toilet is available. Parking is there. It is usually crowded in Saturday and Sunday.

  • It is a beautiful scenery beach with lovely sunrise view early in the morning at about 5 'o clock, probably in a clear sky. It us a good photogenic spot having huge rocks here and there. But it us a dirty beach with less safety measures . As such there are point's of danger too. We can view a lot of fishermen and fishing boats.

  • This beach is a great place to chill out with family and friends. This place is not crowded like other beaches in Chennai. People come here for fishing 🎣. But there is no food stalls near the beach, You take with you whatever you want. The tide here is high, people sometimes enjoy surfing here too. Good place for photography. You may get chance to buy live fish 🎏 caught by localites from the Sea at good price.

  • This is a mid-size beach in Kovalam on Earth road in the outskirts of Chennai. This beach is also on the path that is enroute to Mamallapuram. Unlike the Marina, it has few short stretches of rocks on the seashore that gives it a rustic experience. This beach is right amidst a small fisherman's village and you get to buy seafood both fresh and cooked. Unfortunately this beach lacks the required maintenance and is left to the mercy of the visitors and the villagers. The government of Tamil Nadu is also planning to setup a surfing spot here due to the rustic waves. This is a good beach and families can enjoy during weekend early evenings. Better to avoid this place after 6.30-7 pm. Enjoy and please do your bit to keep this beach clean.
