Phra Nang Cave Beach - Review

Popular for its temple, the cave is believed to be the place where Phra Nang waited for her husband after he left for his fishermen duties. Another story goes that an Indian princess was killed here in a ship-wreck and her spirit occupies the cave.

The cave is where fishermen and boatmen still make offerings for a safe sea-journey. People from all around Thailand come to pray to the Lingams placed here, for fertility. Locals say if you release a Lingam anywhere at the Krabi shore during high tide, it will reach the cave.

Offering you prayers here to later enjoy the beauty of the beach all around, completes the experience. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Krabi itinerary 3 days.

Phra Nang Cave Beach, Krabi Reviews

  • Real paradise is here!! U can claim the mountain ⛰ and visit a awesome cave 😎 Nice beach 🏝 and soft neat sand❤️ U can doing yoga 🧘‍♀️ with sun bath

  • This is located back side of Railay beach and is 15 min walk from Railay. You need to pass through walkway surrounded by beautiful and mysterious caves. After the caves there is princess cove and phra nang beach. Beach is less crowded as compared to Railay and is ideal for sunbath. Water also is good and calm.

  • Wonderful beach that is shaded most of the day by mountain. Get there by long tail boat in Ao Nang or take paved path from West Raily to East Raily beach and keep going south. No climbing required.

  • This place, needless to say, offers stunning view and landscape! We kayaked for about 30 minutes from Tonsai beach to Phra Nang Cave at around 2pm. It was sandy and rocky! So it was painful to walk barefeet and I got small cuts from it as well. It is also a good spot for photo session. The tides were getting low at this hour and they come back up when the sunset. We had to wait until 6:30pm to kayak back to Tonsai beach otherwise we'd have been hindered to the shore by the rocks!

  • Most beautiful beach in Krabi.
