Beautiful beach to visit while on vacation in this part of Thailand!! Warm water, white sand, and good options for food and drinks right on the beach. I was here in the off season and it was a little crowded, but not bad at all. Still was able to find my own place on the beach from me and 3 friends. Definitely would recommend this beach to anyone!!
This beach is definitely worth the cost of a boat ride. We only visited for a day but would live to stay at a resort there next. The beach was nice and we did foot scrubs and massages on the beach, both relaxing and good. We ate a tuna sandwich from the take away stand in the middle of the food court. It was the best sandwich I've had in SE Asia! We also enjoyed exploring the nearby area and visiting the Diamond Cave and other beaches.
We had a private cottage near the pool which made our stay special as those rooms are lovely and convenient to restaurant beach and pool. The service provided is fantastic as is the breakfast. It's a very scenic place so visitors arrive mid morning and the boats that bring them stay moored at the beach for the day so you can't avoid boat noise all day. Front desk arranged our transfer back to Krabi airport which was much better idea rather than arranging independently. The simpler rooms are just that - simpler so we opted to upgrade to the front Sunset side of the hotel. It's right next to Rayavadee but I believe has a better full Vista of the beach from the pool area. We'd definitely be back.
Nice, but there are so many boats the water isn’t clear anymore. I wonder if the corals are still alive. Thai tourism suffers greatly.
Look at the pictures. That should be enough to justify a day trip to this wonderful place. Not too crowded in October. Many restaurants and street food places but they're a bit overpriced compared to Krabi Town.
