Railay Beach, Krabi Reviews
We had a private cottage near the pool which made our stay special as those rooms are lovely and convenient to restaurant beach and pool. The service provided is fantastic as is the breakfast. It's a very scenic place so visitors arrive mid morning and the boats that bring them stay moored at the beach for the day so you can't avoid boat noise all day. Front desk arranged our transfer back to Krabi airport which was much better idea rather than arranging independently. The simpler rooms are just that - simpler so we opted to upgrade to the front Sunset side of the hotel. It's right next to Rayavadee but I believe has a better full Vista of the beach from the pool area. We'd definitely be back.
Amazing beach experience! Go very early for a less crowded vibe. Small food stands offer local fare, but a nice fresh coconut is hard to beat. Limestone cliffs surround this beach for great views.
beautiful beach and view, however there were parts where random pieces of plastic was floating around which was a put off, sad to see what mass tourism do to a wonderful place. The only way to get here is by long boats. I recommend you buy a 1 way trip to railay as the return is only at 6pm. Stay in the beach and watch the sunset, worth it! Then you'll have locals doing longboat trips for the same price.
I went here because of all the great reviews and numerous websites saying it is the place to go. I was not all that impressed with it. I thought the scenery was very beautiful and it is a great place to come and just lounge about on the beach. I prefer beaches with a little more to do, like snorkeling however.
Beautiful place to visit. Should definitely stay for the sunset. Has some really good cafes with Rastafarian themes as well.
