Tab Kak Hang Nak Hill Nature Trail, Krabi, Krabi Reviews
Walked half way. It was far to hot to carry on. Pity was really looking forward to reaching the view point. Next time I will definitely make it there. Please wear sensible shoes rather than flip flops. Which I wore. Bit rocky I'm places. Lovely to look at has walking.
This is the entrance of a beautiful trail up the mountain. It has no entrance fee, you only need to do registration at the entrance. There is a food stall near the entrance but along the trail there are no facilities. The trail is garbage free and alcohol is banned. Most of the trail is a dirty track but well accessible. It's accessible to anyone but some parts are quite steep. Fantastic views in the viewpoints.
It might seem from reviews that it's just "worth visiting" but after hiking there and seeing whole Krabi from the view point (actually multiple view points) I can say it's a must visit thing! To the peak and back to the national park entrance took us (but will all the side attractions like waterfall, pool, all view points with quite long rest there) around 7 hours. About 11 km in total covered. So whole day spent and it's a really nice break from island hopping and beach rest.
Amazing amazing trail! The views from the top are INSANE! Couple tips: go as early as you can, so it's not as warm and also so you avoid the crowds and get the summit for yourself! The first half is a bit strenuous but then it gets considerably easier, so don't give up, but do go at a comfortable, do take plenty of water and do wear good shoes! When you get to the top, don't stop only at the first viewpoint, keep doing a loop of the summit with the cliffs to your left, that way you see all the viewpoints and end up back at the trail. Enjoy!
What a beautiful hike and viewpoint so rewarding! Took us an hour to get there and 45 mins back my fiancé and I are both pretty active. Wear good runners and bring lots of water and maybe a snack but water is a must this hike is hot hot hot!!! Like be ready to finish and feel like you jumped in a pool with your clothes on hot! We took a scooter from town for 200 bhat and drove 30 mins quite a chill road up. Free parking and no park fee just make sure to sign in and out. Oh the first half of the trail is wide like could fit an off road vehicle and the second half gets a little narrower.
