Church Of St. Anne - Review
The first church constructed on the site, founded by professors of the Jagiellonian University, was a Gothic building, destroyed by a fire later on. The second church was constructed in Baroque style in the 17th century. It is an elegant example of Polish Baroque architecture. There are a handful of highlights to be found inside. Check out the stucco decoration by the Italian Baldassare Fontana, the polychromy, the painting of Saint Anne on the high altar, the 18th century paintings of Saint Anne in the stalls, and the tomb of John Cantius. It doesn’t have as rich as history as some of the other churches around Old Town though.

Church Of St. Anne, Krakow Reviews
This astounding church has a much lighter feel than some of the others, with lighter paintings throughout the domes. Look especially at the plaster work, which often creeps outside the borders of where the image is supposed to be, making the scenes feel like they're approaching you in 3D.
One of the leading examples of Polish Baroque architecture. The church's history dates back to 14th century when it was Gothic style, but after fire it was rebuilt. Now the largest Baroque church in Krakow, airy dome frescoes and soft angels everywhere offer a sense of light and redemption, and the fine stucco decoration by the Italian artist Baldassare Fontana is especially noteworthy.
A very pretty church near the University. It's worth stopping by.
This Catholic Church is beautiful. I'm delighted to see the resting place of St. John Kanty, who is the namesake of my school in Milwaukee, WI.
A short walk from the Main Square. Active church with gorgeous interior. Visited here twice, just to take it in.
