Located next to the Franciscan Monastery and its catacombs, this church was constructed in 1640. The church had to be rebuilt after a flood and the Baroque building you see today was consecrated in 1672. It looks very plain from the outside, but is lavishly decorated in the inside. Check out the 18th century Baroque altars, and the painting of Saint Casimir on the side altar. In front of the church you will find Stations of the Cross. Outside the monastery, find an old historic bell that is rung only when one of the brothers dies. The crypt of the ministry contains the mummified bodies of these brothers and they are open for viewing only on All Souls Day (November 2nd). There are over 1000 bodies placed in there, including that of Countess Domicella Skalska, who became famous for secretly working here as a maid.

The entrance to the church is reportedly difficult to find. Look for the part of the church facing planty Park. The entrance can be found opposite the park inside what looks like a small alley.

Visitors are not allowed inside the monastery during Mass hours:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30am
• Saturday: 4:00pm (Alternating with St. Patrick)
• Sunday: 9:00am
