This Roman Catholic church has a lot to recommend it. It was built in the 13th century, but it’s not certain by whom. For hundreds of years, on Good Friday, the Brothers of the Archconfraternity of the Passion, with staves topped with skulls, hold a procession here. In the Chapel of the Passion, there is a famed replica of the Shroud of Turin. And from here, King Ladislas escaped with his life from the bombarding Bohemian forces. You’ll also find sculptures and busts, and relics in the chapels.
But the most famous attraction at this church are the stained-glass windows near the apse, and the the Let It Be window above the western entrance. The creations of Stanislaw Wyspianski, these are said to be among the greatest stained glass works in the world. Wyspianski also painted the flowery murals of the eastern part of the church. The result was one of the most vividly striking interiors of all churches in the city.
The church is best visited during Mass, or during one of its many concerts. Check the church website for upcoming events!

John Paul II ‘s favorite church in Krakow. Franciscan couvent. There’s a seat marked as his seat.
Beautiful stained glass, and ornately decorated walls and ceilings. Free entry, and an interesting chapel dedicated to two modern missionaries killed while away.
One of many great spiritual places in Krakow.
Its darken then on the photos that you have seen what makes the colours less bright. Keep in mind its a active church.
Wyspianski everywhere! 👍
