Józef Czapski was many things - author, artist, cultural journalist, and officer in the Polish Army. and an important part of Polish history, including the Polish Defensive War and the Katyn Massacre. He was in charge of 4 investigative task force looking for Polish officers who went missing in the course of the Russian Civil War. This museum focuses on his life and his works. The exhibition has his personal artifacts such as diaries, memorabilia and books. There's also a recreation of the room he lived in for 40 years when he was exiled in Paris. The first floor is a space for temporary exhibitions. Make sure to check out both the downstairs cafe and the lovely views from the observation deck on top of the building.

This museum amazed me with its large collection of scientific books, as well as antique money from different parts of Europe and Middle East. I strongly recommend this museum to those looking forward to learning something new and interesting... There was also a cafe behind the museum, if you feel like having some refreshment after the intensive tour.
Прекрасная коллекция нумизматикики, как по наполнению так и по подаче. В целом весь музей очень красив и современен! / Marvellous numismatic collection. As it is brilliant by fullness, also it's same good by its representation! Generally the museum is very beautiful and modern!
Great numismatics museum. They should expand their ancients collection, add some better looking denarii.
Czapski was grate numismatist and collector. If You like to see old coins you have to visit this place. There is the most valueble coin of Poland. Worth to take a look.
Extraordinary numismatic collection (especially polish coins and notes as well as the ancient greek and roman collection) well presented in a really beautiful historic building.
