Established in 1966 on the ruins of an 19th century fort, Pszorna, this park was supposed to accomplish a lot more than it did. Today the 60 hectares of the park has cycling and walking paths, an educational garden filled with simple demonstrations of scientific concepts, the Krakow Arena, and two monuments to Polish pilots. However, the original plans had also included designs for an artificial ice rink, swimming pools, and an amusement park. Most of the trees are deciduous and shady, and various flowers bloom on the lawn. The pigeons, woodpeckers, magpies and starlings offers some entertainment to the birdies. However, unless you're already in the neighborhood for some other reason you don't need to go out of your way just to visit this park.

  • Very nice place for a walk. Squirrels are adorable. New fountain looks great.

  • It's really big park with a lot of running tracks, playgrounds for children and for adults. Also there is a good sport yard, which is rarity for Krakow's parks. And a lot of green yards for picnics. It's a good park for walking around, bicycling, walking with dog, running etc. and etc. Good place to spend time. By the way there is big parking near Tauron Arena which is free when there are no events at the stadium. I recommend this park.

  • Fantastic place for everyone, especially families. Toilets provided but no shelter if raining.

  • Awesome, plenty of space

  • The best pizza in the city.
