Muzeum Witrazu W Krakowie - Review
There are two reasons this place is famous.
The first and immediately clear reason is the beautiful Polish Art Noveau building. Constructed as a glass workshop, a function that it performs even today, the 1902 building is as much a historical site as it is a museum. Around the city of Krakow you will find over 200 stained glass windows produced at this museum.
Secondly, inside the museum you’ll find the artists themselves! You will learn the process of shaping and coloring glass, both the art and the science. For a more immersive experience, you can sign up for the workshop with the masters themselves. There, you get to create your own stained glass specimen and bring it home!
You can also book the museum for events such as parties and seminars, especially in the evenings, when the exhibits are enchantingly lit up. Remember to check out the souvenir shop, and the cafe.

Muzeum Witrazu W Krakowie, Krakow Reviews
Very beautiful museum! The guide is an employee so he knows a lot about the process and knows how to explain it so that everyone can understand. The tour takes roughly an hour but it doesn't get boring. Stained glass is a very underrated art and you won't get the chance to view the manufacturing of it in many places. Worth a visit if you stay in Krakow!
Fun excursion in Krakow. Some small hands on experiences. Nice laid back your guide. Should have had more pieces in display. It is an active stain glass building workshop. I would do it again if I had to start over but not twice.
This museum does not seem to show up easily in several review media (Google, TripAdvisor etc.), however it I'd definitely recommend it. The museum is only accessible with tour guide as you are taking a tour through and active stained glass workshop. Tours start every hour and the guides speak English fluently. It was great to see how the stained glass is produced from start to finish and to see the evolution of the art and craft over the last centuries.
I spent a marvellous two hours here, getting the tour as well as doing the workshop. Had great fun fooling around with tin, copper, glass cutter and a soldering iron. Created a pathetic little piece with the Wawel dragon. Was so proud of it, thought I was Picasso reborn. Broke the damn thing travelling. Had to cry. Almost. Anyway, super interesting place, great and friendly guide, good coffee and sweet buns included in the tour ;) Heartily recommended by me!
One of the must see in Krakow. This workshop has remarkable history with awesome achievements. You can try by yourself to work with the brush and you see how the artists around you are doing their work. I loved it!
