Add my name to the list of people singing the praises of this cozy restaurant. We wanted to stick with Polish food and wine during our stay in Kraków and this place was hands down the best. If you don’t have a reservation you can try going late afternoon and you may get a seat. We arrive at 5 and were allowed to have a table until 6:30, after which they were completely booked. If you’re in the city and want the best in traditional polish food, make this place a destination.
The food here was super and tasty. I had the pork knuckle which was really good. Different flavoured vodka. The horse radish one is a bit of an acquired taste. Booking is highly advised. It's always packed out apart from when they're closed to change shifts to prepare for the evening
Located in the old Jewish quarter serving traditional Polish Jewish style food. Menu in both polish and English. Very good service from helpful staff. The meals are good and by Western standards very reasonably priced. Some tables overlook an old square. Great place for people watching...and eating
You really must try this fantastic restaurant and I must stress that you need to book well in advance. Not only is the food well presented and delicious, but it is also very reasonable. For the four of us, we had a bottle of wine, two starters, four mains, three deserts and some cokes and it all came in at less than £75. The staff were really friendly, hospitable and on the night we ate there, they had a live band! Great experience, would definitely go again. Thank you Starka 😊👍😊
It’s hard to put into words how much I loved this place. Thankfully I made a reservation in advance for a Friday night. The food was amazing, the infused vodka was awesome, and the live music was so entertaining. Love the staff as well!!!!
