Al - Amar - Review
Fantastic Lebanese food, the bread and the hummus are good in itself to have as a dinner or lunch. Kebabs, Baba ghanoush are worth tasting.

Al - Amar, Kuala Lumpur Reviews
I normally never write reviews, but this customer service experience was so bad that people need to be warned of going there. - Ridiculously long waiting time (one hour until the main dish was served, the starters (yes, starters not desserts) came about 20 minutes later). - Part of our order was forgotten. - When asking about the whereabouts of our order, we just get looked down with arrogance, no reply received. The waiter just walked away. - When I tried to ask for the bill, the waitress just walked by ignoring but having clearly heard me. Never experienced such an ignorance. Luckily there was at least one attentive waiter who observed the situation and apologized. Maybe should just have walked out without paying. How would you have liked that? Maybe then you talk to your customer. If you don't like foreign guests in your house, write it at your door. And all this for an at best mediocre dish. Never again.
I ordered chicken platter with two skewers and rice. The server brought a chicken sandwich. When I asked about my order, another waiter came to convince me that I ordered a sandwich. I was being plain and simple insulted. I asked to talk to the manager. The two waiters went to the manager and talked for a while. He did not come towards me. I went to him and told him about it. He seemed to not respond. I realize then that they did not have the grill going yet and they gave me kebab meat in a sandwich. It was disgraceful, an insult to a customer.
The food taste good and price is reasonable too. The staff were very friendly as well. A little music for outdoor seats would be good.
Dishes I ordered tasted real good, however, It was way to expensive. Maybe because of the location or imported products. ( Portions are satisfactory)
Went here for lunch and Shisha while in KL. We ordered s lebanese pizza and biryani rice and the food was excellent (highly recommended the lamb and cheese pizza). The shisha was well maintained and we had the double apple flavour, it had good flow and thick smoke. The ambiance and decor was nice and modern. Will definately go back here with more friends.
