Aquaria Klcc - Review
There are over 5000 animals, land and water-based, here. The aquarium is very cleverly designed - you basically just walked through in one line. It takes you through different kinds of marine or water worlds - jungle, coral reef and open-ocean. These cover animals such as piranhas, sharks, electric eels, starfish, otters, stingrays. There are three major sections – Level 1, the tunnel, and Level 2. The 90 metre long tunnel is undoubtedly the best part of the aquarium. It gives you the feeling of being totally submerged as sharks and stingrays swim around you. Some of the main exhibits are:
- The Butterfly Section
- The Weird and Wonderful Section
- Amazon Flooded Forest
- The Coast
- The Coral Discovery Section
- The Stream
The aquarium also has a diving program. There are two ways to going to the water - caged or un-caged. You can only go in the un-caged way if you have a diving certificate. Though you will have to sign a liability form, don’t worry, the sharks are all domesticated.

Aquaria Klcc, Kuala Lumpur Reviews
This is the place we enjoyed the most in our visit to KL. Vast variety of marine diversity presented in a very informative way. You can see that all the animals are handled well and the whole place is well maintained. I was truly amazed of the wide variety of live corals with all its exquisite and vibrant colors right in your very eye. Its feels like having gone scuba diving as you get mesmerized by these underwater creatures. What you get to enjoy is more than what u pay for. ,👍👍
Amazing place you must visit. I visited aquarium in Kuala Lumpur, Egypt hurghada and Emirates Dubai mall. they are all amazing but this one is big and has varieties like seahorse which I didn't see Elsewhere and tiny creatures each in a glass place so you can see them separated. and also the very interesting life cycle of Some animals. There is a guided tour which you will be very happy if you catch it on time.
On paper, this place seems like a perfect tour attraction near the upscale Suria and Pavilion malls. But the reality of the situation is, the exhibit and experience was not enough to justify the high price. Touring the place from beginning to end was quicker than expected and left us hanging. We expected a longer tour and more stuff to marvel at, but instead, aside from the tunnel and cute water life, Aquaria KLCC left us a tad disappointed. If you've gone through your list of must-see Kuala Lumpur locals, and you've got a lot more Ringgit than you want, then by all means, this place is a good 30-minute distraction. Otherwise, there are better things to use your money on in KL, like food and the nightlife.
Had a good time spent here. Little expensive for what it is. They need an octopus 🐙 The tunnel is cool to go through. Can buy tickets online and possibly get through the que faster. It was very busy in the first part - patience is required! Recommend!
an interesting place. it's filled with various type of sea creatures. every creature also have a pretty detailed description too. the place is pretty big for something that's inside a mall, although when it's crowded you'll barely be able to look around. there's also photo corners, flash sale and a gift shop. pretty decent place. it's worth it
