Aquaria KlccCurrently Open [Closes at 08:00 pm]
There are over 5000 animals, land and water-based, here. The aquarium is very cleverly designed - you basically just walked through in one line. It takes you through different kinds of marine or water worlds - jungle, coral reef and open-ocean. These cover animals such as piranhas, sharks, electric eels, starfish, otters, stingrays. There are three major sections – Level 1, the tunnel, and Level 2. The 90 metre long tunnel is undoubtedly the best part of the aquarium. It gives you the feeling of being totally submerged as sharks and stingrays swim around you. Some of the main exhibits are:
- The Butterfly Section
- The Weird and Wonderful Section
- Amazon Flooded Forest
- The Coast
- The Coral Discovery Section
- The Stream
The aquarium also has a diving program. There are two ways to going to the water - caged or un-caged. You can only go in the un-caged way if you have a diving certificate. Though you will have to sign a liability form, don’t worry, the sharks are all domesticated.

Located at KLCC. The nearest Parking is under Trader Hotel. About 5 minute walk. Used lift to C floor. Follow the sign to Aquaria. Best time to visit other than holiday. Good to bring a child. Many type of Aquaria Life Marine. Also good for studying about marine life. Better book online first. Doesn't need to queue up when arrive. Stroller is allowed. Someone is always there if u need to take a picture.
Amazing place to visit. Really loved the sharks. Great for young and not that young people 😁. My personal favorite was the bamboo shark. So lovely, you can get them and they are so happy to play with you. Just be careful and gentle with them and follow the instructions on the sign. They stole my heart 💓
Awesome experience here and the under water tunnel experience is superb. Many species of marine animals and reptiles 🦎 are exhibited here and some sessions are interactive. Make sure to check the animal feeding times from their official website for breathtaking moments. Their photography prices are higher than average but the good thing is that they allow cameras inside and no restrictions for filming the marine life.
It is a nice place to explore with our children. We can explore and also learn about many kind of fish. There were a lot of different fish there, and it is attractive. Prices is so so, not too expensive. At holidays, better buy it online, rather than buy it on spot.
A good place to visit when you are in Malaysia. A lot of different marine species, which you wont find in many different aquarium through out the world. A very well maintained place you can also see them feeding fishes an shark while you go through the tunnel. Its a good one time experience
