Aquaria Klcc - Review
There are over 5000 animals, land and water-based, here. The aquarium is very cleverly designed - you basically just walked through in one line. It takes you through different kinds of marine or water worlds - jungle, coral reef and open-ocean. These cover animals such as piranhas, sharks, electric eels, starfish, otters, stingrays. There are three major sections – Level 1, the tunnel, and Level 2. The 90 metre long tunnel is undoubtedly the best part of the aquarium. It gives you the feeling of being totally submerged as sharks and stingrays swim around you. Some of the main exhibits are:
- The Butterfly Section
- The Weird and Wonderful Section
- Amazon Flooded Forest
- The Coast
- The Coral Discovery Section
- The Stream
The aquarium also has a diving program. There are two ways to going to the water - caged or un-caged. You can only go in the un-caged way if you have a diving certificate. Though you will have to sign a liability form, don’t worry, the sharks are all domesticated.

Aquaria Klcc, Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Awesome place! A must visit for children and curious adults. A wide range of sea creatures and amphibians on display. Beautiful fishes. The USP of this place is the Shark tunnel though. The aquarium covers a fairly large area. You should be able to stroll through in 2 hours.
Beautiful place and friendly staff ready to guide throughout the journey of this amazing underwater world. Different types of sea and ocean creatures. Live feeding is carried out which is an enthralling experience. It's best to check the feeding schedule on website before going. A variety of creatures to see and learn about marine life. Easily accessible and nominal prices.
This is the first time I've been in Aquaria KLCC.. Just one word I could describe. AMAZING!! 😍😍 You can see a lot of unique fishes here.. that u haven't seen before. Trust me. You'll like it!
Aquaria is a suitable place for children to learn more about marine life. There was an area with steps that is inaccessible to people on wheelchairs, Aquaria should strive to provide all their exhibitions with step-free access. The feeding times were fun to watch. The information accompanying the exhibitions could be updated to include more information and could be presented using more creative methods. The price is expensive yet understandable as it costs a lot to maintain aquariums but it would be nice if it was cheaper to encourage more visitors. I personally found the picture-taking sessions very annoying because I was not interested in purchasing any of the photos. I hope Aquaria would give an option for people to choose to not have their photos taken (This is also better for people who are camera shy). Overall, I had a decent time in Aquaria.
Located amidst the heart of KLCC Aquaria is a top-notch tourist attraction. It reflects the underwater life of many species. You can enjoy breathtaking view of the different fish and sea creatures along with educate yourself with fan and interei facts about underwater life. If you are visiting KL with friends or family, do keep in your bucket list. If you are student, do ask them if there is any discount, you might get lucky!
