Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park - Review
This is the largest and best butterfly park in the world. The block is a landscaped garden, 80000 metres square. Altogether, there are about 5000 butterflies, in about 125 species. To keep the butter flies in, a net has been spread high over the park. 15000 plants, and some fish and turtle ponds have gone into trying to create the best imitation of the butterfly’s natural tropical habitat. Needless to say, the garden is exquisite all by itself. Limestone paths will guide your feet through the park. At its end, you’ll come upon a information centre/museum, and a souvenir shop. Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Nice experience in a nature park, butterflies were fluttering everywhere. It's interesting to observe them up close. The butterflies were unique not the usual ones we see. The park landscape is also really well designed, many seating areas and points for photo taking. Have a small aquarium areas with strange fishes and amphibians. Also an indoor area with butterfly and insect specimens and real live in tanks. Place is not very big but can enjoy for around an hour taking photos. RM12 per entry for Malaysian adults.
This is a nice butterfly garden for 25MR/5US. It has a large garden space that you can walk through and see lots of butterflies. The paths wind around and lead back to the entrance/exit. It has some really nice water features also. There are other exhibits with insects as you leave. Wow, there are some big, scary bugs in Malaysia! There is a place to buy snacks and souvenirs. Go early because it's hot! Liked it. Allow an hour, or more if you really want to see the details.
Good naturally maintained park. However, the place has room for improvement. Varieties of butterflies are available, but not upto expectation considering that it is a park dedicated for butterflies. Beautiful Fishes and small ponds are available. It is a small park but the landscaping provide beautiful photo spots. On the way out, they have showcases for different reptiles, insects and other small creatures. Antique shop is also available.
Plenty species of butterflies, caterpillars, & other inserts, there is also frogs, fishes, tortoises, lobsters, lizards; Beautiful flowers in the garden; Collection of insect specimens in gallery. It's a small yet lovely place for people of all ages, great place for those who love macro photography too. 🦋🐞🐌🐛🐜🕷️🦂 🐢🐸🐟🦐🦎🌺🌼
Keep this place at the end of your visit list. The park is too small and I didn't find too many butterfly species in it. The reception staff isn't polite and the park isn't well-maintained. The attached museum is better and offers a wide range of butterfly specimens. The entry fee was 24RM when I visited. The bird park offers far more value at 68RM in comparison to this.
