The SkyBar has a prominent place in Kuala Lumpur’s nightlife. 33 floors up on the Traders Hotel, its sunken alcoves look out over a glimmering, bejewelled city every night, with the Petronas Twin Towers looming outside its skylights. The crispy fingerfood comes in generously doled out quantities. The music alternates between jazz, techno, soft rock and ambient on different nights of the week. Try the specialty cocktails.

  • The place that I miss the most from Kuala Lumpur. It's a beautiful place with the perfect view of the twin towers, and a beautiful pool in the middle of the bar. The cocktails were pretty decent with reasonable price. There's a dance floor in from of the DJ which is awesome. The staff there were very friendly and considerate. Only negative thing is that there's no AC, only fans. I was dancing a lot so it got super hot. Also the restrooms are small and extremely hot, since there's no AC or fans in the restroom. Despite of that, I has a really great night there, and hope to be back soon.

  • We went to skybar at the top of traders hotel, and the view was incredible. We went at around 5.45pm and had a great couple lemon juice drinks and a chocolate fondue which was great for 2 at not too overpriced value and both were delicious. The chocolate fondue came with several dipping options such as a variety of fruits, marshmallows, macaroons and a chocolate brownie that is to die for. The bar is next to the pool, and they have lighting and cool music playing to set the vibe. Because of the time we went we were able to see the sunset which was incredible. Coming here really made my trip in KL that bit more magical, I would love to revisit.

  • Best view and bar in KL to see the Petronas Towers. Music was awesome, the pool is wicked and the seating by the window out of this world. Smart casual dress code, does not apply. Come as you are and enjoy your time up here :)

  • Great bar to sit back and enjoy the KL view. I would recommend getting there at 5.30pm to ensure you get a seat with a good view of the Petronas Twin Towers. Towards 6pm staff will put reserved signs on some of the window seats. I was lucky enough to go there on a Wednesday which is ladies night. From 6pm until 11pm or until they’ve run out ladies get free cocktails! This was an awesome way to spend our last night in KL.

  • Kind of dull. Window seats are reserved for hotel guests or people willing to spend a lot of money. It’s a little strange that there’s a pool in the middle of the bar, seems a bit out of place. I recommend taking your drink to the second floor—there are seats and a great view of the towers.
