Though it can be considered part of the Lake Gardens, this attraction charges a hefty fee for its charms. The 21 acre public aviary is one of the largest covered bird parks in the world. Three thousand birds covering about 200 species make this an indispensable visit for birdies. Before you visit, check out the feeding times for various species of birds such as ostriches, lory, hornbill, eagle and storks. The park is famous for its 3 zones in which the birds are allowed to fly free, in habitats that closely resemble their natural homes. These zones include areas such as Flightless Bird, Hornbill Park, Flamingo Pond, and Brahminy Pond.
The Bird Park is one of the attractions added in 2 days in Kuala Lumpur. Must visit this awesome attraction.

This is one of the largest free flight park for birds. There are lot of species of birds and you can see many birds like peacocks, cranes etc roaming around throughout the park. There is a bird show at various times which is entertaining. As this is a huge park, you need to walk a lot. There are many places in the park where you can buy corn, ice cream, soft drinks etc. Park is basically split into 4 parts and the fourth one is where bird show is done in the amphitheatre.
This is a great place. It is a large park with lots of exotic birds. You get to walk among the birds in the huge aviary. It is amazingly well designed and maintained. The price is 63 MYR per adult, and well worth the price. We spent several hours here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Great place to spend with kids. The white peacock seems was interesting. It kept on opening it's tail. Lots of birds roaming free. You can take your kid's picture with the bird if you walk slowly to the bird. Don't scare the bird. Best come before 12 noon to avoid sticky hot weather. They also have bird show.
Amazing! With a lot types of birds moving around at close range, you will not notice that you are in a big bird cage. There is an area where visitors can feed the birds (walk towards the far left of the bird park) and watch live performances after that by bird park trainers. Worth the trip cause it is near Kuala Lumpur City Centre, a short get away from the concrete jungle into a nearby tropical forest.
We come back here after the last visit in year 2016. Amazingly well maintained. The birds especially the herons are friendly. Birds are taken care of. The space is huge and kids friendly, and very shady. Fees entrance are reasonable. The downside is only at the cafe, its too pricey. I asked for a hot boiling water, because i want to drink my own tea, they refused to 'sell', i have to buy the BOH tea sachet for rm4?? In conclusion, a must visit place if you are in Kuala Lumpur!!
