This place is well worth a visit we went on a Tuesday night so it was quiet but the main Dj was brilliant they play requests as well as their own set. We love dance music and we were treated to a 40 min set of dance. It's free entry before 12. Midnight for Women
We had a VERY VERY BAD experience here. There we easily 15 people in my group entering zouk at 3am. We were looking for a good time to celebrate one of our friends bday. A proper conclusion to a fun day. But as we entered and paid the after 3am cover charge(which was rm55 per person) and purchasing 3 bottles straight away!! The electricity went off (after 10 minutes).. it went on and off a couple of times in the next 20 minutes... then the staff of zouk and manager ( a short baldy named CRAIG) immediately started chasing clubbers down (use a slide they said- as though that makes things all good). Immediately I mean! Is there no back up generator in a fine established club like ZOUK!! fine.. we understood it may have not been the clubs fault that they electricity went off and on... but come on.. be a little considerate.. we just spent close to RM 1500 ( 10 minutes ago) and would have spent more in the coming hour and we were looking for some sort of compensation.. so we politely asked... what can we do to make this into a win- win situation ( after all we were PAYING customers) So we asked politely.. but that short baldy manager (CRAIG) who has god knows which country's accent ( for all we know he's Malaysian), was yelling and arguing back on top of his croaked voice that he can't do anything about this! You are a manager managing a fine club and you are saying you don't know what can you do... ( do you even have any PR skills ) and yelling at customers on top of that!!! We were talking very calmly to him... but he was shouting.. and I mean shouting... come on CRAIG... we were looking for an amicable solution.. you acted more drunk than us ( the customers) You didn't apologize and said maybe, just maybe.. in the near future you can help us find some sort of compensation or anything that would helped calmed a disgruntled situation... Infact you prolonged the argument for another 30 minutes! It's a shame for zouk you are appointed as a manager of the club.. even the services by the staff was horrible.. I am hoping the management of zouk will into this...and take the appropriate action. Thank you very much
Very few options in KL actually. So this one is the most frequented to visit and well known. Has different houses for different music tastes which is great.
It's one of the best party places in KL. There are a few different halls to find the entertainment best suits for you. There are many bars and restaurants next to Zouk within TREC.
Normally I wouldn't give a review about a place I visited but this time the manager of Zouk club was so friendly and talked to me and gave me a really good reason to the most honest review I can give.. So it has been the worst club I have been so far. One group of chinese people were afraid of me so one security guy lead me to the outside. The manager said that I missbehaved but he couldn't give me a real reason. Just the group of 5 chinese opinions against mine were enought to kick me outside. The manager said he doesn't care about the meaning about one customers, so here is my review :) My hot Kazakhstan women will still miss me. If you want to go here, skip the party and for all the guys, just skip the entrance fee and wait till the party is over (3 am - 4 am). You will have much fun without the (indian) manager :)
