Chinatown, also known as Kampung Cina, is a tiny yet bustling area in Kuala Terengganu. Locals usually call it KT’s Chinatown or Teng Lang Po. As it is one of the oldest settlements around here, it represents history dating back to around 300 years. Some of the buildings still have some parts build in the 1800s. Today, all the colourful combination of shops, temples, and houses lining the narrow lanes of Chinatown has become a popular attraction amongst tourists. A plethora of food stalls offering durian cakes, roti paong, pulut dipa along with other Malaysian, Chinese, and Indian delicacies are a must-try.
