Aruvikuzhi Waterfalls - Review

Cascading down a cliff of jagged rock, this 100 foot high waterfall, falling in five spectacular steps, has carved quite a nice picnicking area right in the middle rubber country. It’s a beautiful place, and great trekking region. It’s best to come early in the morning, and to bring a change of clothes. The waterfall isn’t the only thing in your itinerary though. Above the waterfall you’ll find a cute St. Mary’s Church. The drive over the falls is quite scenic too. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Kumarakom itinerary 3 days.

Aruvikuzhi Waterfalls, Kumarakom Reviews

  • Aruvikuzhi waterfalls is a small water fall in the midst of rubber plantations and comes from a small stream above the bridge and a small check dam which is situated there makes it a water fall below the bridge. It is one of the local tourist attractions. They have recently build some view points to watch the beautiful scenery of the waterfalls and walk besides it.It is good to visit the places at morning and evening. There are local shops and other travel options nearby. It is better to visit the place during Monsoon.

  • A safe and beautiful waterfall. We can bath under the falls safely. Elevated walkways are there, which has good views. I visited on a Sunday, but the place was not very crowded. We have to park along a road-side. Tourism department should consider and develop this place into a good tourist spot.

  • Nice place nice to have a natural bath. Nice to get a natural photography. Nice ride to there in bike. We can enjoy a lot in both riding and bathing. Nothing to be frightened. Kids can also take a bath there. We can take nice photos that's the most useful thing.
