Kumarakom Beach - Review
The name is a bit of misnomer that’s become popular. Kumarakom is on Vembanad Lake, which doesn’t really have a beach. The beaches everyone seems to mention are to the east, a short drive away. They are Thaickal Beach or Arthunkkal Beach, and these beaches line not the lake, but the Arabian Sea. Volleyball on the sands, or Frisbee throwing matches are common sights on the silvery sands. There are plenty of water sports activities and facilities - water skiing, wind surfing, parasailing, boating and so on. Snorkelling is fun too. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Kumarakom itinerary 3 days.

Good beach but not so clean
Very good and clean ....superb
Not good area because some people are using drugs.so we cant bring our family and all
Arthunkal is a coastal town and a major pilgrim centre in the south Indian state of Kerala. It is 43 kilometre south of Cochin cityand 21 kilometre north of Alleppey town. It is a rapidly developing satellite town of Kochi. Arthunkal lies in the taluk of Cherthala, which is in turn a part of the district of Alleppey
Nice beach with lotts of sand and some pine tree area. Easy to reach wwith a wide road approching the beach. Lots if shops for refreshment. Only experianced swimmers should go into the see as the sea floor slopes sharply and the waves are very dangerous.
