Adi Kumbeswarar Temple Reviews & Ratings

  • For every temple we visit, we try to wonder the architecture or the history behind that but , this temple we entered through Mottai Gopura vasal to skip the walk as it is a big temple and it was hot outside. The entrance we entered, there stood the Magnificent Temple Elephant, as soon I saw I fell in love with it. It stood there with no chains and it stood there unattended but it never left the place where it stood. Well trained and kudos to the temple management to train it well without chains.

  • Loved the place. Very big and ancient one. Well maintained. Elephant outside the temple was very energetic and attracted everyone.

  • A very ancient probably 1000 + years old giant temple complex with super engineering & architecture . Kumbakonam city's deity . Worth a visit faith or not . Temple elephant is well behaved & is a bigger attraction to all devotees .
