About Gothic Stone Fountain, Kutna Hora

An engineering relic, the beautiful Stone Fountain at Rejsek Square is a good example of late Gothic architecture. Built by Master Brikcí in the year 1493, the twelve-sided fountain used to be the source of water supply for the entire town back when it was facing serious water cut offs. Striking during the day, this gothic stone fountain looks sublime after dark as it is lit up in soothing colours. Don’t forget to carry your camera for this one!

Gothic Stone Fountain, Kutna Hora Reviews - Write a Review

  • Not much to see here. It's a pretty interesting place from the outside, but you can't really go inside or anything. However; there is a cool window to see these strange structures inside. The place does look pretty cool compared to it's surroundings. You might want to give it a look, if you're around. Otherwise; I wouldn't pay extra attention to it or focus on it too much.

  • This has nothing to do with the stone fountain but in that General town area thing right down from the church was a spiced wine mulled wine merchant that was 10 out of 10 would drink again

  • An interesting place with lots of historical significance behind it!!

  • Nice fountain but it is closed, could do with a little more information about the story.

  • Nothing but the outer wall is left however nice it is.
