This was probably my favorite sushi experience in Japan. It’s best to make a reservation and if you can’t get anyone on the phone, we just came at opening and asked for their next availability. There is a set menu. You get a tray like the pictures below and you get to wrap your own roll using the ingredients given along with the spices on the tray. You should definitely check this place out! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it.
꼭, 예약하고 가십시오. put a seaweed on the Sushi met. Take a right amount of rice and one of the ingredient you like to put on the seaweed and roll !Teori sushi Hand weaving sushi AWOMB
If you're in Kyoto then I would 100% book Awomb. Don't let the "reservation by phone only" put you off. I called from Australia and it was fine. It was the cutest and funnest way of eating sushi. You can mix and experiment while making your sushi rolls. The sparking saké was also great.
Very interesting pairing tastes and way to eat sushi, too bad you can't only stay for 30min
Loved this place. Wonderful service and very creative way of eating sushi. You get to make it yourself. So great!!
