What a lovely hidden spot this shop is! The inside is from an older, more typical Kyoto. The service was lovely. The food was delicious and the serve were big. This shop definitely deserve your attention when visiting Kyoto. It also has an English menu!
No negociations possible. Would have liked to order dessert for 2 and some tea for another but they wouldn't even sell us overpriced tea! so we got out of there real quick!
A great place to take a rest in the summer
What a nice treasure! We stopped here after a few hours of walking around the temple. The sweets were delicious, and the tea was perfect for a cold day. Stop here and escaped the crowds. We were the only westerners in the place. It is worth the wait.
Really easy to overlook but worth a stop for a tea and a sweet (really sweet). Enjoyed it and will come back to that cosy place.
