Museo Geo-mineralogico Naturalistico Di La Maddalena, or the geo-mineralogy museum of Stagnali is a museum that aims at displaying the collection of rocks, minerals, fossils, beach sand, sea shells, flora and fauna that was collected by the collected by the Cesaraccio Association. This museum opened to the public in 2002 and has since then been attracting many visitors. Some of the remarkable specimens here are the gigantic groups of smoked quartz crystals that weigh more than 300 pounds! The museum’s purpose is to promote, coordinate and carry out research in the fields of geology and mineralogy.
