La Paz Golf Club was started by the British who arrived in Bolivia at the start of 20th century. Located at an altitude of 4000 feet, this golf course is spread over 130 hectares of land, making it one of the highest golf courses in the world. The foundation of this golf course was laid in 1912. The earlier golf course has 9 holes but was later on completion the golf course has 18 holes par 72. Today, this golf course offers its visitors a chance taking a swing at their favourite sport.
