Prairie Park Fishery Reviews & Ratings

  • Nice relaxing trail. Easy access to the water for fishing. Part of the trail is close to train tracks (great if you're a railfan like me).

  • Beautiful 2 mile paved trail around lake. Great for kayaks! We didn't get into any seaweed while fishing and our whole group caught a fish and lots of bites! Little gem of nature IN town!

  • Nice for a quick 🛶 trip. Good fishing, but have your trout stamp. Excellent walking trail for beginners or advanced. Water does look like it is turning over though right now from so much rain, a little greenish.

  • its a beautiful park. it has 2 miles of paved trail around the lake which is a great place to walk/bike on. at the far east side there is a spot that is also excellent for photographing sunsets. i would recommend this park for anyone looking for a place to relax outdoors :)

  • Beautiful quiet paved trail. About 2mi one lap around. Also branches off go sac & fox trail if you want more nature and gravel trail...
