Seminole Valley Park Reviews & Ratings

  • If you like wide open spaces near Cedar Rapids to run, cross country ski, or fly model aircraft, then this is your place. There's plenty of room for games, picnics, and sports. With the Cedar River often being high, many trails flood often, and river access is limited. The city could do better on wooded trails and mosquito control. Bathrooms would be nice, but there's porto potties, and they were cleaned regularly.

  • Nice park with lots of open space and green grass. Plenty of trees for shade on super warm days and lots of trails and paths to follow. I frequently walk dogs here and they love it!

  • Peaceful and beautiful. Even on a weekend, I only encountered a couple other people. Trails aren't physically challenging and offer very nice views.

  • It is a great peaceful place. Your dog would love it! Also it is a great course for running

  • Excellent paths along the Cedar River lined by naturally forming sand dunes, tons of dead fall and driftwood, as well as the river itself. Also a drone / rc airplane course, community gardens, and tons of wildlife. Oh, and! And a farming museum and a jet fighter just sitting there! Cool park. Definitely recommend.
