Banyan Tree Park, Lahaina Reviews - Write a Review
A neat place to check out. It's amazing to see it's all one big tree and how old it is. Definitely a must see in my opinion when visiting Lahaina. One of the days I went there was a craft fair going on so that made it a bit more difficult to fully appreciate the tree. But it was neat to look through the various vendor tables. There is a small museum building at one end if you want to learn more or need a break from the heat. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.
Pretty cool little area with a small boat harbor and lighthouse. It also has a giant tree covering almost the entire park with hanging limbs that is amazing. At night it looks even cooler but I would check it out both day and night. It is right in the heart of town and is just a short walk to lots of restaraunts and shopping. The old pioneer inn is right there and has an old sea ship theme and is delicious. Definitely a place to check out while in Maui.
Great experience. Lots to do around; shops, museums, restaraunts. Good plaques for the history of the area. Only issue was a guy strung out challenging the tourists.
Nice park with one massive banyan. If you have never seen something like this, it is worth checking out. Don't hang on the tree.
Great place to take a break after walking front street. Slightly creepy at night, but in a fun way.
