The Lake Andes National Wildlife Refuge is located in the U.S. state of South Dakota and is spread over the area of 5,638 acres making this one of the largest parks in the state. Lake Andes is a natural lake that is fed by underground springs and is a nesting ground for many bird species like Bald eagles, Ring-necked pheasant, Northern pintail and numerous species of ducks and geese. Various mammal species like White-tailed deer, coyote, badger, and muskrat are also found here.
