Hickory Run Boulder Field, Lake Harmony Reviews - Write a Review

  • Very cool place, naturally created during the latest glacial period roughly 20,000 years ago. When you are in the center of it all, it feels as if you are walking on some foreign planet. It's worth checking out if you're in the area. Note that walking on it is not for the feint of heart... You will need to watch every single step to make sure you don't fall or twist an ankle!

  • We decided to make this our last stop during our weekend in the Poconos. It was only 20 minutes out of our way on the trip back home, and it was completely worth it. It was a blast hopping across the rocks and we got a ton of amazing pictures. Definitely unlike any other place I have ever seen...

  • Easy hike.. but I wasn't well to hike so my hubby n I took the car.. it's beautiful jus even to drive up the it!... I'm from FL!.. I love the fall leaves driving around here!!... nice n friendly..

  • You can get there without an PA toll road E-Z Pass, but be aware that your GPS might tell you to exit at a no cash exit. I had to dispute a fine by showing that I had indeed taken a ticket when I entered the turnpike in West Chester. The road to the boulder field can be traversed with any car. No 4x4 required if going between spring and early fall. Best time of year to go is late September to mid October.

  • Awesome place to take the kids. They live climbing over this unique geographic feature.
