The largest freshwater body in New Jersey, Lake Hopatcong provides for numerous recreational activities like water skiing, boating, camping, windsurfing, tubing, wakeboarding and lots more. The lake forms a part of the border between Sussex and Morris and offers numerous events for both the countries throughout the year. Various clubs also organise annual fireworks on the lakeside that are free to the public and the sight is worth watching.
