  • Went with Calgary friends to Lake Louise where we hiked to the Lake Agnes Tea House and then up to the Beehive. Lots of elevation gain from Lake Louise and a pretty good workout for a hike. It's worth the effort for sure. We made a loop first through Mirror Lake and then up to Lake Agnes. The trails are arranged so you don't need to retrace your steps going back down. There's a nice water fall along the way as a bonus.

  • We hiked to the Big Beehive on a quite smoky day. Nevertheless, the views from up there were incredible. The way up is not that difficult. Some of the switchbacks in the final part are a little more risky, but nothing too bad.

  • Great hike. I've walked to the Lake Agnes teahouse several times but this is the first time I continued around the lake and then up the Beehive. There's a great view of Lake Louise at the top. You can continue down the other side closer to the lake rather than retracing your steps.

  • Amazing and breathtaking view to the Lake Louise from 2300m above the sea !

  • Difficult hike that rewards with stunning views of the area, and of the tiny canoes skimming across Lake Louise below.
