Ozark Distillery Reviews & Ratings
Had a great time! Everything is delicious. All of the whiskeys had a great flavor. I couldn't believe the tasting was free! After that, I got a flight of beers. All of these beers had a great flavor also. Would highly recommend this place!
Pay the $5 dollars and do the tour. You won't regret it! It was the most informative and fun distillery tour I have ever been on. There were a few chairs offered for those that couldn't or didn't want to stand for the 45 minutes. (Getting a set of bleacher would be nice so everyone can see at all times) I am not a moonshine person at all but their drinks were so delicious. Get the Adult Harry Potter Butterbeer!!! It was perfection (and not bad on the price either). The staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming. While we didn't stay for food, it smelled great! Bought a few bottles for myself and friends along with their BBQ sauce that was yummy too!
If you are in the Ozark area stop by and take the distillery tour. Very informative and knowledgeable. Tour guide makes the tour fun and keeps you interested and laughing.
Every now and then you drop in a business that has really hit the mark all the way around. The Ozark Distillery and Brewery on Highway KK in Osage Beach, MO is such a place. I sampled multiple beers and multiple whiskies and moonshine. Every single one was quality. Every one had surprisingly superior flavors. Their flavored distilled spirits had true flavors-meaning they did not use (with very rare exception) artificial flavorings or sugar just to sweeten it up or to take a short cut. Their goal, which they achieved, was to capture real and honest natural flavor in their product. Admirable. Their physical space was also “done right. Very well laid out and appropriately decorated. A very appealing and easy to navigate retail display of bottled spirits and branded merchandise. The bar area divided the retail area from the seating area. All in all, it just looked right. Behind the, for lack of a better term, public building were two buildings where the brewing, distilling, etc. were done. They do offer tours of their production facility. You can park in front or opt for the larger parking area in back. Easy in and easy out. Special mention goes to the employees that helped me during my visit. Both were super friendly. They were well informed about the products, had a great attitude and were genuinely helpful...not to mention patient considering all the questions I peppered them with during my visit. I think next time I’ll leave space in the car so I can pick up a few cases of their quality spirits!
Great little place, unfortunately we were not able to go on the tour. Staff is wonderful, I just wish since they have a dining room there would be more food options other than pizza.
