The Herb Brooks Arena is a multi-purpose sports arena located in Lake Placid. This ice rink was built and developed for the 1980 Winter Olympics and has hosted various events since then. This arena is also witnessed one of the most famous ice hockey tournaments called the Miracle on Ice that was played between the United States and the Soviet Union. In 2005, this arena was named after the late Herb Brooks to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the American victory.
