  • Decent room. I had one of the top floor "lake view" suites on the front of the building. Appreciated that the windows open. Bed was pretty good, but the pillows were not very supportive. For a side-sleeper I couldn't get comfortable with the pillows. Saw a great sunrise over the lake. Front desk staff very pleasant. Parking is a little tight. The 15% discount for guests at the breakfast restaurant was a nice perk. Overall a nice place, but quite expensive. I guess that's what you get at a "resort" destination.

  • We got a king room. There was plenty of space and the bed had a memory foam mattress. It's an old building but the rooms have been renovated recently. The decor is adorable, woodsy with modern touches, and our view was gorgeous! The location is convenient, right in the middle of town. The only warning I have is if you have a large car, you may not want to use their parking lot. It's a tight squeeze.

  • The reason I would have to give this hotel 4 instead of 5 stars is because it seems that some areas are a work in progress. The room itself was everything you would expect from a standard hotel room. The room was kept clean by the excellent housekeeping staff. The downside to the hotel was the balcony itself (not the furniture on the balcony) felt dirty and not well maintained and the hallways as well as the elevators had a strong smell to them. It smelled like mildew and slight urine. One elevator smelled like wet dog. The location was GREAT! Right in the center of the little town. Having Delta Blue and The Cabin Grill right downstairs was convenient.

  • We stayed here with our dog over the weekend for a wedding at Whiteface Lodge. Very pleasant experience and everyone was so friendly. They definitely love dogs there and our pup made so many new friends. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk to many shops and restaurants in the area.

  • Great view, bad internet, good bed however a little low on the bang for the buck scale... if it were a bit cheaper we'd be back often. Make sure you book a top floor room. keep your expectations low and bring your own pillows... Did I mention the lakeside view? Wow.
