  • Nice Japanese restaurant. Portions are on the smaller side for the price but otherwise pretty good.

  • Very delicious japanese restaurant with a fantastic view of lake Tekapo. Ordered a bento set and it come with a large porsion. Recommended!

  • Book in advance or else wait in queue. Sometimes they allow you to have a quick meal before Reservation party arrives. But they take most of the time to take your order and then prepare and leave you with less time to enjoy the food. Quality of food is good at affordable rates. Good views if you manage to get table near Windows. Different kind of food when compared to Mackenzie (which is also good) but quality is pretty good. Be patient as it gets busy all the time. If you don't have time, just skip this one.

  • wow and amazing I will go there on my way to Christchurch

  • Great locally farmed salmon. Fresh and well prepared. Amazing views of the lake too. This is probably the restaurant that gets closest to the lake. This place is authentically Japanese and lots of people in the staff and customers are Japanese. This is a gem and it gets crowded so make a reservation or be prepared to wait.
