Located in the city of Lakeland in Florida, the Florida Air Museum is Florida’s “Official Aviation Museum and Education Centre.” This museum features many aeroplanes including classics, ultra-lights, antiques and war-bird aircrafts. Apart from the one-of-a-kind displays, this museum offers tribute to many aspects of flying. Paying its respects to Howard Hughes, early air racers, and many Floridians who have contributed to the field of aviation are a few of the highlights of this museum. The museum is open every day between 12 and 4 PM and is closed on Monday.
