Fulton Theatre - Review
The Fulton Theatre is supposedly the oldest working theatre in the United States. Named after Robert Fulton, the man behind steam engines in Lancaster, this is one of the three theatres in the country that is recognized as a National Historic Landmark. The theatres stages performances like Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, James and the Giant Peach for kids. Adult plays like Veronica’s Room and 4000 Days are also staged here. Besides these, there are special performances every week that exhibit local talent, Fulton’s own stories and plays about Lancaster’s rich history. These plays are not just performances, Fulton makes them into an experience. Do try to watch one of the shows when in Lancaster.

Fulton Theatre, Lancaster Reviews
The talent in the show was unbelievable. Seats are comfortable, people were very helpful. The architecture is gorgeous and well maintained. You should definitely see a show here...possibly spend a few days in Lancaster City. There are a lot of nice places to visit.
Always a wonderful performance and good excuse to dress up for an evening! The ushers are polite and helpful and drinks & snacks aren't exceptionally exorbitant. Seats are roomy and actually comfortable (be a cute date and opt for the box seats!). And lavatories are conveniently located on every level, so no waiting for all the girls standing in the line for the bathroom.
We are really fortunate to have a theater like this in town. The talent and quality of the shows is top notch. I have always been impressed. The musicals, symphony, and plays are all top notch. The theater itself is a gem. When you read the playbill the performs are often broadway level talent. There are cities many times the size of Lancaster that don’t have a theater if this quality.
Always love coming here for their live performances. Treasure Island was thoroughly enjoyable. Phenomenal singing and acting!
Lovely, classical and classy theater. Terrific production of an action-packed musical rendition of Treasure Island. Cast was top-notch.
