Long’s Park was acquired by the city of Lancaster in the early 1900s. Today, this 80-acre park is a site for the most happening summer parties and events in town. For around 13 weeks in summer, the park’s amphitheatre stages musical performances in the evening. Musicians from all over the country come to Long’s Park in the summer for a performance. The diversity of performances on this stage is rarely found elsewhere. Artists present genres like Blues, Latin, Celtic, World, Classical, Folk, Country, Rock n Roll, Bluegrass, World etc. in front of the city’s audience. The Long’s Park Labour Day Art Festival draws in art lovers from throughout the Atlantic region. Besides the amphitheatre, the park boasts of amenities like picnic pavilions, a petting farm, playgrounds, tennis courts, nature trails, and even a spring-fed lake.

Long's Park Reviews & Ratings
Amazing park. Lots to do with the kids. It’s unbelievable how big of a park it is. I hate that they got rid of the castle park. Still so much to do. Love the free summer concerts. Every year for 4th of July you’ll find our family of 7!!!
Absolutely lo e this place. Great for family picnics. Couple romantic spots. Ducks in pond. So much to do. Entertainment schedule. You gotta go
This is one of my favorite places in Lancaster. The open field is a great place to let your kid run or fly a kite or just look up at the big, white puffy clouds that appear so frequently during the spring and summer months. There are several little playgrounds and it’s nice just to take a walk around the lake. My absolute favorite is to come here for 4th of July. My in-laws introduced me to it about 12 years ago and every chance I get, I try to make it back (I think I’ve been to at least 5 or 6 of them?). Make sure to get some kettle corn!! It’s the best around.
Great large park near Lancaster city. There's water, tons of parking, walking trails, waterfowl, cooking spots, playgrounds, a petting zoo, and an amphitheater. I've been going to the free summer concert series for years. It is truly unique to Lancaster, and if you haven't been, you should go some weekend and see what it's all about.
I took my Great Granddaughter there to check out their playground. It was terrific! It had rubberized squares for the kids to run on and I didn't have to worry about her falling as she was running around. She made many new friends because it was crowded with families. Great place!
