About Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi Island
A non-touristy waterfall ideal for a splash in the water! A little hike and visitors can experience a serene environment with the waterfall set right in the middle of verdant forest. The waterfall has been named after the Durian trees bearing spiny oval tropical fruits and surround this waterbody. The main attraction of this waterfall is the lovely hanging footbridge amidst lush greenery and rock formations and is you climb up. With 14 tiers of cascading waters, this fall looks surreal and directly brought from heaven. The water that forms the pool is crystal clear and is an ideal for swimming. Just keep in mind that Durian Perangin is considered as the third most difficult waterfall to trek in the island.

Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi Island Reviews
Fortunately, I’m staying very close to the waterfall, but I would definitely not travel far to see it. At least it’s free, but it’s just not that amazing. Sorry, but there are far better waterfalls on this planet.
This waterfall must visit when come to langkawi. This place allow family gathering and play together. Is very nice place to swim and discover. This place have a basic toilet but clean if compare to others. And this place a have a few pondok to let people or tourists give a break or shelter when raining .
Nice but looks like less maintenance due to old facility. The toilet lil bit smelly but still clean
A recommended waterfall to go in Langkawi. Do a leech check after you come out of the water.
probably not worth the trip. just another waterfall. There are other better ones on the island (and judging by the colour this one is also potentially infused with some local sewer brine..)
