A non-touristy waterfall ideal for a splash in the water! A little hike and visitors can experience a serene environment with the waterfall set right in the middle of verdant forest. The waterfall has been named after the Durian trees bearing spiny oval tropical fruits and surround this waterbody. The main attraction of this waterfall is the lovely hanging footbridge amidst lush greenery and rock formations and is you climb up. With 14 tiers of cascading waters, this fall looks surreal and directly brought from heaven. The water that forms the pool is crystal clear and is an ideal for swimming. Just keep in mind that Durian Perangin is considered as the third most difficult waterfall to trek in the island.

Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi Island Reviews - Write a Review
probably not worth the trip. just another waterfall. There are other better ones on the island (and judging by the colour this one is also potentially infused with some local sewer brine..)
Highly recommend to come on a weekday to enjoy a quite hike. You can dip in the clear cold water after the hike. If you're traveling with families there are areas for grilling and small huts. The stairs are a bit steep so make sure you bring water and can rest at the huts. Be careful though with monkeys they might get your gadgets or food. If you want to simply enjoy nature or meditate this is a must visit in Langkawi.
Nice waterfall, free to enter. Maintained okay. Need to walk uphill for total waterfall view.
Worth the hike. Nice clean water and not crowded. Make sure to take some drinking water or hydration pack along and wear hiking shoes. The stairs can be slippery during wet season so be extra cautious. If all goes well with the walk through the jungle the falls on the top of the mountain are amazing.
One of the places that people might usually miss. But it’s a good waterfall to take low light waterfall photography during evenings
