About Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi Island
A non-touristy waterfall ideal for a splash in the water! A little hike and visitors can experience a serene environment with the waterfall set right in the middle of verdant forest. The waterfall has been named after the Durian trees bearing spiny oval tropical fruits and surround this waterbody. The main attraction of this waterfall is the lovely hanging footbridge amidst lush greenery and rock formations and is you climb up. With 14 tiers of cascading waters, this fall looks surreal and directly brought from heaven. The water that forms the pool is crystal clear and is an ideal for swimming. Just keep in mind that Durian Perangin is considered as the third most difficult waterfall to trek in the island.

Durian Perangin Waterfall, Langkawi Island Reviews
Very well maintained recreational spot. Beautiful waterfall with cool water. Recommended to tourists and make sure to bring spare attire. U will get tempted to swim in the natural pool.
Two different areas to bath. Free entrance. Nice pictures can be taken. Not crowded. Facilities around to picnic or even cook. Cheap restaurant next to it.
Nice waterfall in Langkawi's Northern-East side and main thing it is free to visit (We went very early, so not sure actually if they charge or not). Overall maintenance is also good. Need to walk uphill for total waterfall view. However, the uphill way is little more slippery, so need to be careful.
Such a wonderful and peace can release tension there while picnic with our friends and lovely family :')
There are few spots to grill your own food. It looks like Malay style of picnic. Great place to relax and enjoy beautiful nature. Don't forget to take a swimming suit. The prize of going to the upper pool will be the opportunity to swim under a waterfall. There are few average restaurants and a public wc as well
