Pekan Kuah Night Market, Langkawi Island Reviews

  • We enjoyed roaming around. The smell of food here is tempting. We tried beef steak, chicken satay (cost RM0.50 each) and beef satay (cost RM 1 each), different finger foods (which my friend didn't like) and of course, kelapa and milo ice. Both are sweet and good! Many people are visiting - they're not only selling food but souvenirs as well. Though not sure if it is cheaper. Near only. :)

  • The biggest night market in town. One of the best place to visit cause they have everything. From clothes, fruit, groceries, local and street food. If you're stay near Kuah, please have a visit. You'll never regret.

  • Saturday nights from 5 to 11pmish. Good prices, no bargaining and lots of food. Some food may have sat outside for a while so try to get fresh! Shopping is mostly clothes, shoes and niknaks so don't expect to be able to find all of your souvenir needs unless you can want to give everyone 5RM sarongs.

  • Busy place with lots of food and people. The laksa utara was incomparable. The fish gravy was really yummy - the cook used fresh fish off the boat.

  • My favourite market in Kuah. Deep fried chempedak, fresh local produce, homemade desserts, foods and things to eat ans buy. Very friendly and nice atmosphere.
