About Bhulla Tal, Lansdowne

Witness the beauty of calm waters by visiting the Bhulla Tal Lake, which is located just 1 km away from the Lansdowne City Centre. The man-made lake takes its name from garhwali language and simply means- Younger Brother. The lake is dedicated to the Garhwali youth of Garhwal rifles, the ones who helped in constructing it. It is an ideal picnic spot and can be visited to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Once, you’re here, you can indulge in boating as well. The boating rides are for about 15-20 minutes and be done only after paying the minimal admission price.

  • It's a taal. You can do boating here.IT opens at exact 9:00am in winters. There are ducks, rabbits ,white pigeons and greenery around. Has got washroom facility Also a small park with swings is nearby so kids can enjoy there too. there is shortcut to main market from this place for on footers

  • Bhulla Tal is never to miss place in LANSDOWNE. A prime to visit on your trip to this Hill station. Every walk and Age person can enjoy. Very neat and tidy place. Have comfortable parking and Refreshment arrangements. Rabbit and pegion cage for small children,boating is available. Please note it's closed on WEDNESDAY.

  • Nice and cozy place. The lake is okay with some beautiful swans. The eating corner is decent.

  • A beautiful landscape. It has boats, ducks within it. The bridge between the two sides of the lake further enhance the scenery

  • Good place for morning walk if you are in Landsdown, place is beautifully managed by Indian Army. There is a canteen next to the ticket counter, you can definitely have quick bites there.
