Bhulla Tal - Review

Witness the beauty of calm waters by visiting the Bhulla Tal Lake, which is located just 1 km away from the Lansdowne City Centre. The man-made lake takes its name from garhwali language and simply means- Younger Brother. The lake is dedicated to the Garhwali youth of Garhwal rifles, the ones who helped in constructing it. It is an ideal picnic spot and can be visited to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Once, you’re here, you can indulge in boating as well. The boating rides are for about 15-20 minutes and be done only after paying the minimal admission price.

  • Really clean environment, Great place for family picnic. Really near to army museum and going to both of the places in a day is a surreal experience. Calm environment. Boating is seasonal so make sure the tal should be filled with sufficient water for boating according to the weather for example after monsoon season! Come relax here and enjoy natural beauty, 3-4 small parks, one beautiful bridge, 3-4 seating huts and one tree house what more a family picnic needs?

  • The place is small but very neat and clean. Place is maintained nicely but Indian army. You will definitely enjoy. Boating can be done if enough water is available. Small bridge across the Bhulla Talk is great.

  • It's a good place to bring your kids and families. There are few things to admire - a lake where you can do boating , can see few ducks and fishes too. Lots of greenary and flowers to adore. Also, few shops outside to eat in the canteen and do some shopping.

  • The place is having nice sitting locations.. lake is small and in july no boating because of rain. Water level is also not so good and not clean either. Good place for taking pics😋 sit relax and go.

  • A very beautiful and well maintained place by Army. In rainy season this place must be very beautiful but unfortunately when we visited, water level in lake was very low hence boating was closed. You can also view rabbits and pigeon in the cage but most beautiful thing is it's garden spread on steps and bridges. Go with GF, wife or fiance and feel heaven.
