Tip In Top Point - Review

In order to witness the extravagance of the picturesque Shivalik range, you should definitely visit the highest point of Lansdowne, the Tip-in-Top Point. The hilltop is located just 2 kilometres from the main city centre and it allows you to enjoy some stunning panoramic views. This particular point is surrounded with oak and pine trees and is still less explored by tourists. If there is no fog and you’re lucky enough, then one can even witness the snow clad mountains of the gigantic Himalayas, from the Tip-in-Top Point.

Tip In Top Point, Lansdowne Reviews

  • We stayed in superdeluxe room. The rooms are good. Surroundings are peaceful and full of devdar and pine trees.Tip n Top is the highest point in Lansdowne therefore staying at GMVN cottages is highly recommended. The food can be ordered one hour in advance at the restaurant. It is prepared fresh and excellent in quality. Also try garhwali mundua ki roti and chanusa a type of dal preparation. All other dishes r also excellent. All in all GMVN Tip n Top is best place to stay in lansdowne.

  • Great get away. Nice cottages. Peaceful. Centrally placed. Sun set point, Santoshi mandir, St. Merry church, St. John church, Lansdowne Gandhi Market, Bhula Lake, Museum and Mess can be covered on foot. Food is neither good nor bad.😉

  • Mesmerizing scenery can't be explained by words.. But one drawback. There is no more famous place near by. But to nature lover its Awesome

  • A good place to bring family and friends to enjoy the beautiful hilly scenes in front of the resort. The place is covered with greenery and the mountains as it is located in one of the best places in Lansdowne. Dining area is well decorated, food quality is above average. There's a lot of space for parking. This place is just perfect to spend 2-3 days with loved ones.

  • A govt owned resort. Location wise it's very good. Located at the top point of Lansdowne. The staff is friendly. The food was so so. Housekeeping needs improvement. It runs like a typical Govt. Resort. You are paying for location.
