Off the coast of Lanzarote lies the Chinijo Archipelago. The archipelago includes the islands of Montana Clara, Alegranza, Graciosa, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste. La Graciosa is the smallest inhabited landmass in the Canarian archipelago! The archipelago is part of the natural park Parque natural del Archipielago Chinijo. While in Lanzarote, jump on a ferry and visit this quaint, unspoiled hidden gem. Ferries leave from the Orzola harbour 3-4 times a day. After crossing the waters of El Rio, La Graciosa is a revelation.  You will find pretty little houses, a few restaurants and cafes, two supermarkets, a bank and a post office. There are no roads on the archipelago, only dirt or sand tracks. Head over to spend a day exploring the deserted beaches, dunes, volcanic terrain as well as cones of extint volcanoes.
