This DoubleTree looks a little dated on the outside, however the interior seems nice and clean. There are 6 floors and the Hilton Honors are floors 5 & 6. The elevators are a little old and slow but functional. The rooms have wall mounted AC. Showers are amazing,. Great water pressure. Only one premium cable channel (HBO). Free parking, but you can only enter they the lobby, so the parking in the rear and sides are very inconvenient. Breakfast is a buffet, the server was a little overwhelmed, but i was there at 8am I will start here again
Disappointed - First day I went to the gym and the heat was on - it was unbearable and there were no towels, and no wipes. I reported it and was told engineering would look into it. The next day there were towels in the gym, however, it was still unbearably hot and no wipes. The heat was never fixed during my 3 night stay. One day my room was not serviced so I had to go to the lobby for coffee in the morning -- but the pot was empty. I don't usually complain but I feel I gave the property the opportunity to fix the heat and condition of the gym and they ignored it which is poor guest service - the other two events seem to emphasize the lack of service at the property. I stayed at the neighboring property the week before and had a wonderful experience and will book ahead in the future to stay elsewhere.
I went there for my cousin's 50th birthday party. The room was nice and the food was really good. The bartenders at the bar did a good job with drinks and moving the line along. A couple of my family members had rooms at the hotel. The rooms seemed nice enough. The only drawback was the breakfast situation. Every Double Tree hotel that i have stayed at provided complimentary breakfast with waffles, french toast, and eggs to order, but this place had a $13 buffet that was just average. Since our party was big we did have a server that assisted us with drinks and custom omelettes. Overall the hotel was clean and the area was safe.
Very nice hotel located a couple blocks away from the White House. Staff is very friendly, rooms are amazing and the business center saved my butt when I realized I only had 1 copy of my resume for an upcoming interview. Would stay here again.
The double tree in largo was definitely one of my worst experiences in a hotel. The employees that we encountered were nice and polite but they are very understaffed. It took me nearly 30 min to check in, the sheets in my room were still damp and the pool was closed for the first two days of our stay and when it did open there was a pool party where high school kids were being unruly and inconsiderate and the staff was not helping. There were families with young kids trying to enjoy the amenities and couldn't.My relatives car was broken into. We came here for a family reunion and this will be the last time we will be staying here.
