How to Reach Larnaca

The largest commercial airport on the island is the Larnaca International Airport, from which taxis are readily available to ferry you to your destination.

If you are arriving by sea, city buses run from the port to the city, and to the seafront. Within the city most busses run from Makariou Avenue and pass different tourist locations.

If you find people going in the same direction, you could make use of a shared taxi service, they run from 6 or 7 in the morning and do pickups and drop-offs. You can also find regular metered taxis on all main streets, but these can be expensive.

Rent a car to explore the outlying villages and sites, but within the city it is easiest to tour on foot, as it is not very big.
