  • The experience is unbelievable. Absolutely AMAZING. TOTALLY A MUST GO TO UNDERSTAND what I am trying to explain before my cell battery completely dies. 1 thing I can say before I was able to enter the restaurant/ you won't be disappointed in any form at all. Believe Me when I say that ?➡ Your taste buds will be excited to celebrate the party going on in your mouth. I can't express to you how heavenly the taste buds will be after experiencing the wonderful party going on in your happy mouth 😋 I can't speak about all those yummy unique flavors but I know for a fact that once you will leave, you will start craving just another bite of you own fantasy. Promise it is unforgettable

  • This was an unusual, but great dining experience. It was an all vegan menu, and I'm not vegan - but everything was fantastic. My compliments to the chef(s)! Upon arrival, everyone signs a waiver. Then you are lead into the pitch black dining room by your server, single-file holding the shoulders of the rest of your party. Once seated at your table, you're given basic orientation and instructions from your friendly and knowledgeable server. Course after course is served, only with vague descriptions of what you're eating and with what utensil (or your hands) to use to enjoy it. Each course, better than the last! Service was amazing! Our server, Willy, was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

  • My girlfriend and I went there for lunch after hearing about the place online. Going into the pitch-black dining room was a bit disorienting at first, but our waiter, Corey (spelling?) was absolutely great, and helped to make everything easier and fun. You get used to eating in the dark by the second or third course, and it's fun trying to identify what you're eating. We were pretty close on most of our guesses. The lunch there is about $60 per person (for five courses). A little overpriced perhaps, but you're for sure paying for the experience. I also ended up pretty full, so it's definitely enough food. Most of the food was quite good. The lunch menu is a five-course meal: three appetizers, the entree, and a dessert. We liked 4 out of the 5. The other course was fine, but it wasn't as good as the others. Going in, I did not know that all the food was vegan-friendly. The food was still good, and knowing that would not have deterred me from going. I just wish I would have known, and I wish there was more protein in the meal. Just a small complaint. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Blackout. I wouldn't necessarily go again anytime soon, but I'm glad I tried it at least once, and I would recommend others try it at least once as well.

  • Unique and fun experience, great service, but completely let down by the food for the very high price. The meal started off strong with an excellent soup, followed by two good appetizer courses, followed by a mediocre salad course. Things dropped off dramatically from there. The main course was a “beef” dish made with some plant based beef substitute that our entire party found unappetizing and didn’t eat. This was followed by two uninspired desert courses that some in our party ate and others left after sampling. The eating in the dark concept makes for an amazing experience that I’d like to do again. Unfortunately though, I wouldn’t return here since this place completely fell flat on the most important part of the meal. Experience 5 stars, soup/appetizers 4 stars, main course 0 stars, desert 2 stars, value 1 Star.

  • Far exceeded our expectations. Wait staff was terrific, we had Chris. The food was absolutely brilliant. So glad we finally experienced this. We can't wait to bring a group back next time.
